June's merry is because the death of May
I do not agree with palmers idea which is June merry Neil is because millions of asking, if may is not die,i do not think that she will merry him even he ask trillions of times, because that may's death make her clear that she should treasure every thing that she has now, I think that is the reason why she merry Neil .any one has different ideas?

August's and Lily's talk
Was anyone surprised that August had known that Lily was Deborah's daughter? I had my suspicions but I didn't think that she knew right away. Also who thought that August had worked for Lily's mom growing up? That was a huge shocker to me.
Lily's Mothers
In the last paragraph of the book Lily describes that she recognizes every day that she has many mothers, The Daughters of Mary. This a perfect way to end the book. The whole novel builds perfectly up to this moment. When Lily realizes that that she has been searching for the truth about her mother but doest need her mother, but her new mothers that she has found in the process. Do you think that the ending of the the book was satisfactory? I certainly do! I just enjoyed how the entire book unfolded perfectly into the the final moments when she learns that she has all the mothers she needs.
Mouse Bones
It seems bizarre that Lily carried around those mouse bones for a while. I know that the book described why she was carrying the bones around, but do you guys think they could symbolize something else, maybe something to do with Deborah?
Chapter 11 Quote
The quote says "It takes honeybee workers ten million foraging trips to gather enough nectar to make one pound of honey".
I am not certain on the meaning of this quote but my best guess would be that this refers to how many times Neil asked June to marry him and after many many times of asking he finally got a yes. If you guys have a different view please comment.
