Lily Finally Tells

I just finished reading the part where Lily tells August the truth about everything and I noticed just how crazed and emotional Lily was. It wasn't like she was finding out new information, she was just telling August everything when August actually knew more than Lily did. Why do you think she was so hysterical? Also, by the end she says she hates her mom for leaving her with T-Ray. Do you think she means that or she just doesn't want to here any more information?
