Coming Clean
This is a question that we brought up during class but didn't really have the time to discuss it. We know that the Boatrights know Deborah, but they don't know the connection between Lily and her. Will Lily ever tell them the truth about her mom? Lily has connection and form strong relationships with each. Is there any reason for Lily to NOT tell August the truth about her mom? If not, then why hasn't she yet?

I think Lily wants to tell the Boatright sisters everything. She just doesn't know what their reactions will be when she tells them. But I think she has gained enough trust from all the sisters (June included now) to know that they will except what ever she tells them about her mother. But I also think that with everything happening, like Zach in jail, and everything sort of "out of hand" she maybe feels like their isn't time to discuss this when bigger things are happening.
