Why didn't August tell Lily about her Mother?
When August explained how she had always known Lily's mother she talked about how she wasn't ready for it yet and that she didn't want her running away again. But when she first got there she was searching for her mother and that was what she wanted to know, to find out who had known her mother, so it would have been much better for her to know. I feel like August should have told her right away, but do you guys think she would've run away if that had happened?

I think that Lily needed time to get to know that calander sisters and form a bond with them before they told her that type of information, if they would have told her about her mother as soon as she arrived at that house and barely knew them she most likely would have ran away again, out of anger.
