Now that May has died, what do you think about the four sisters? April and May are gone but what about Lily and Rosaleen? Are they "replacing" April and May? Or is it really just June and August left for each other?
I don't think that the twins are being replaced. I think that Lily and Rosaleen are just being added to the "family", having their own spots in it. Both of the deaths were sad and emotional and because of this, I think that the Boatright's will always remember the twins. I don't think that June and August are alone left for each other either. Like I said, I think that Lily and Rosaleen are there as well supporting them and being there, but they are not replacing May and April.
I don't think Lily and Rosaleen are necessarily "filling" their places because there won't be anyone who will be able to give August and June what April and May gave them. I just think that Lily and Rosaleen are being added to the family and, I agree with Drew, creating their own places in the family.
I would agree with Sara and Drew, because Lily and Rosaleen seemed to be completely integrated into the family before May's death so it's not replacing so much as adding. Also both June and August had time to deal with April's death long ago and that seems fairly well behind them.
